Fernando Obieta

Fernando Obieta is a new-media artist, interaction designer, and creative technologist. He is a practice-based PhD candidate in media theory at the University of Art and Design Linz. He has studied Transdisciplinary Studies in the Arts and Interaction Design at Zurich University of the Arts and Media Technology. His artistic work and research focus on the critique and reflection of (digital) media, artefacts, systems, services and solutions and how they’re biased and situated. He works at the intersection of concept, design, art, and technology, focusing on prototype development.
